The Verdure, meaning lush green vegetation, is a proposal for a multi residential tower in Bowen Hills. The eight storey development focuses on greenery and community interaction spaces. The lower levels of the podium are fully accessible to the wider community, providing a thoroughfare through the building. The Verdure also features green terraces that are accessible to the residents, acting a backyard for apartment dwellers. The building is covered with 1500sqm of planting, which equals to the site area the building sits on. The apartments themselves, reimagine how the traditional Queenslander verandah can become part of the modern dense urban fabric.
